The happiest place on earth ..

At least for kids.. Some photos from Disneyland trip. The castle is absolutely beautiful at the fantasy light show.

A little about how I took these photos. No, I did not lug a tripod with me. A tripod, getting there early, and setting up right in front of castle with all your gear would be nice. No, I could not camp there with kids running around and wanted to do all the rides. And lugging a tripod with the kids was simply not an option. I set my camera on a garbage can to stabilize my camera. I experimented with slow shutters from 30 sec to a minute to capture the fireworks.

Another good use of a garbage can when you are not trashing something.
They come in handy to stabilize the camera for slow shutter speed, to seat your kids on the top to raise them, so you can capture that shot in a crowd with a background.

The parade.. It's funny how the popcorn, candy and balloon sellers run out about 5 minutes before the parade to sell as much as they can in a couple of minutes.
